Elle Mariah received her master’s degree in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. While there, she extensively researched the harmful effects of the sex industry and discovered connections among human trafficking, pornography, and prostitution.

Since then, she has remained inspired to fight against all forms of sexual exploitation. In 2019, the damaging effects of pornography hit home as her husband’s addiction shattered their marriage and resulted in divorce. Since then, she has stayed diligent to pursue the heart of God through recovery.

Elle is currently focused on creating relatable teachings, inspiration, and tools for women who are struggling to find a path forward after their spouse’s infidelity or porn addiction.

In addition to being an author and speaker, Elle works full-time for Rescue Her, a Dallas nonprofit that empowers survivors of sex trafficking to live in freedom.
