In college, my dream of marriage came true. But despite my best effort to fight for my husband and his freedom from addiction, our marriage crashed and burned.
I was devastated and angry. In a moment of deep pain, God whispered that I could lean into bitterness or I could lean into Him. I could ask Him the hard questions and search for truth. I chose the latter, and walked out of that season restored.
A few years later, I walked through another painful divorce. It was unexpected, unwanted, and it brought me to the end of myself.
As I navigated the pain and trauma, I encountered God in a new way. I was living out Psalm 34:18, “ The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I felt His tangible covering and protection, and I realized I would make it through the hard days.

My Story
In the pain, we can allow our anger with God to lead us into bitterness, or we can grow stronger by asking Him the hard questions and inviting Him into the pain.
Join me in this life pursuit of going after God and discovering the fresh, living water He wants to offer. This place of intimacy is where we'll find true freedom and healing.
Life is hard. We face struggles + trials we didn't expect. But God is GOOD and He has good for you.
Since then, God has drawn me closer to His heart. I cannot deny His love or His goodness. He met me in the place of my deepest pain and brought new hope.
I want that for you too.
Life may not have turned out the way you planned, but when you have an intimate relationship with the One who knows everything, you’re on solid ground.
You don’t have to just survive, you can thrive in the presence of God and the good He has for you.
